Rover Robot

I've always wanted to build robots since I was a little kid after such classic shows as Forbidden Planet and Lost In Space. Over the years I built simple robots using various kits. The Lego Mindstorms was one of the coolest things to come out of the toy industry.
Finally I'm building something almost totally from scratch. Most of the controllers I've gotten from acroname.com. I have a Stargate Xscale processor for the main onboard brain and a pair of Brainstem GPs and a Brainstem Moto for microcontrollers. The Stargate has a wireless network card that will be used to connect to a small Beowulf Cluster for it main brain.
